Everything is in the look. That's why I think it's really important to make things pretty...everything in our business, from our Etsy banners, business cards, store appearance, items' photos, and packaging. Yes, packaging. I don't mean the box in which the items are shipped, but the way the item itself is packaged. To find not only your item, but something pretty containing it after digging through cardboard, paper, and bubble wrap. Isn't cool to get such a surprise from a seller? To see that somebody took the time to make it pretty with his/her two little hands? That's exactly what handmade items are about.
Todo definitivamente entra por los ojos. Por eso considero tan importante el hecho de "embellecer" todo. Todo en nuestro negocio, desde nuestros avisos, tarjetas de presentacion, apariencia de nuestras tiendas, fotos de los articulos, y empaques. Si, empaques, pero no me refiero a la caja en la cual enviamos la mercancia, sino a la manera en la cual el mismo articulo va empacado dentro de esta. Despues de buscar y sacar cartones, papeles, y plastico de burbujas, encontrar no solo tu articulo, sino algo bonito que lo contiene. Que sorpresa tan agradable, verdad? El hecho de saber que alguien te lo hizo con sus manitas, y que no esperabas del todo. Ese es el objetivo de las cosas hechas a mano.
veronicadiagoOne thing we can't forget though, make it affordable. Paper, ribbons, mini card boxes...etc. You don't want to brake your bank, you want to increase the value of your items. Let your customer see that they're getting something extra, that they're appreciated and thanked for their purchase.Sin embargo hay algo que no podemos olvidar, debe ser economico. Papel, cintas, mini cajas...etc. La idea no es entrar en bancarrota, sino darle un valor agregado a lo que vendes. Que tu cliente sienta que esta recibiendo algo extra, que se sienta apreciado y agradecido por su compra.

Si lo embelleces, ellos entenderan que fue "hecho con amor", y es por eso precisamente que tantas personas le dan el valor a las cosas hechas a mano. Osea que pongamos nuestra creatividad a funcionar y demosle un valor agregado a nuestros articulos con bonitos y sencillo empaques!
